7 things I am going to be better than you at doing this weekend | 7 coisas que vou fazer melhor do que tu este final de semana

Querida Sofia,

estou completamente exausta, então tenho um mega programa para este final de semana. Aqui vai:

7 - Curtir a minha cama. Isto de dormir apenas 6 horas por dia de semana tem muito que se compensar ao final de semana;

6 - Ouvir a discografia da Jessie Ware. Descobri três músicas dela ontem e sinto que vai nascer aqui algo novo entre nós duas;

5 - Testar o meu novo fogão e a minha nova máquina de lavar e secar roupa: pois. Oito meses depois de mudar de casa, finalmente comprei uma placa de indução. Mas como não como durante a semana, pode ser que teste a dita este final de semana - e, claro, vou passar o FDS a lavar roupa. Haja água em Luanda!...;

4 - Não vou usar maquilhagem durante 48 horas. É das melhores coisas que gosto nos finais de semana.

3 - Vou acordar e ter tempo para ficar a espreitar o Instagram e o Twitter com apenas um olho;

2 - Vou escrever cartas sobre Cape Town e outras coisas boas para postar a próxima semana;

1 - E vou ficar ansiosa à espera que o sinal de Whatsapp toque alto. Não há que mentir.

Dear Sophie,

I am beautifully exhausted, so I am scheduling a massive programme for me this weekend. Here it goes:

7 - Enjoy my bed. My 6-hour per weekday sleep regimen takes its toll on me on weekends;

6 - Listen to Jessie Ware's discography. I discovered her this week and I feel it's the beginning of a beautiful friendship;

5 - Test and try my new stove and washing & drying machine. Oh yeah, after being in this home for 8 months, I have AT LAST bought an induction plate and might even start cooking. I still haven't as I do not eat during the week, so let's see how that goes;

4 - Not going to wear any make-up for 48 hours. Believe me: this is one of the things I love the most about weekends;

3 - Will wake up and take all my time to sneak on my favourite Instagram accounts in the morning, with an eye closed;

2 - Going to write a few letters about Cape Town (and other beautiful things) to post here during the upcoming week;

1 - Cannot lie: going to eagerly wait for my Whatsapp notifications to startle me throughout the weekend. Oh well.
